InsuCalc
wheels are available in 12 different combinations of insulin:carbohydrate
ratios and blood glucose correction factors, to accommodate the needs
of most individuals with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes on multiple daily
injection regimens.
InsuCalc wheels may be ordered in quantities of 50 or 100. Customers
may order individualized quantities of each wheel variety. In addition,
standard distributions of wheels for individuals with Type 1 or Type
2 diabetes are offered, based on the frequency of different insulin
sensitivities among people with each type of diabetes.
InsuCalc wheels are color-coded for ease of healthcare provider use.
This chart shows the color of each wheel. On the back of each wheel,
there are directions for use and a table of carbohydrate values.
Each box of InsuCalc wheels contains detailed product instructions
for healthcare providers, English language instruction sheets and
clear carrying bags for each wheel. The storage box allows the wheels
to be easily distinguished and dispensed.
